Reviewing 2011 Z28 Camaro Pictures
The history of the Chevrolet Camaro dates back to 1967. The Camaro has had many unusual faces since those first models rolled off of the assembly line but one thing has remained the same. They were always an affordable American sports car. The 2011 Camaro is no exception.
The 2011 Camaro comes in five different trim levels: the base model Coupe LS, Coupe 1LT, Coupe 2LT, Coupe 1SS and Coupe 2SS. They range in price from $22,680.00 to $34,295.00. Just like in 1967 the base model Coupe LS comes standard with 6 cylinder engine.
In 1967 it was an in line 6 design, for 2011 it is a V6. With a 3.6 liter displacement this engine produces an impressive 312 brake horse power. It is in addition comes with an ordinary six speed manual transmission. If you must have an automatic it will cost an extra $995.00. For that you buy a six speed automatic. This model comes with standard eighteen inch wheels, steering wheel mounted cruise control and a dual exhaust. All Camaro models incorporate 6 months of OnStar Directions and connections plan with turn by turn navigation.
The next step up is the Coupe 1LT. This model also comes with the 3.6 liter, 312 horsepower engine and manual transmission. As well as the normal equipment on the LS, the vehicle also comes with front integrated fog lamps, a six way power driver seat and more available equipment such as the Convenience and Connectivity package, Sunroof, and the RS package. The Coupe 1LT without adding available choices retails at $23,880.00.
If you are looking for a little more, check out the 2011 Z28 Camaro pictures of the coupe 2LT. This model still comes standard with the 3.6 liter engine and manual transmission. Upgrades over the previously two models include leather appointed seating, auto dimming mirrors, head-up display, four gauge instrument cluster, Boston acoustics 9 speaker premium sound system, Bluetooth, USB ports and 19 inch wheels. The 2LT has a base price of $27,225.00.
As capable as the LT models are, if your looking for more out of your Camaro than V6 power, then step up to the SS line up. Both the 1SS and 2SS incorporate an average 6.2 liter 426 horsepower V8 engine. Just like in 1967 the V8 was the choice for driving enthusiasts. The 1SS comes with 20 inch aluminum wheels, four piston Brembo vented disk brakes, rear deck lid spoiler, Limited slip rear differential, SS specific seat embroidery, front and back SS fascias. The 1SS will run you $30,945.00.
The RS package that is around on every model except the LS includes 20 inch aluminum wheels, High intensity discharge headlights with integrated LED halo rings, rear deck lid spoiler on LT models, body color ditch moldings and unique tail lamps.
Chevy has done a really good job at keeping with the ideal of the original 1967 Camaro. This latest model has also been carried out in a bit of a retro look ingesting the best visual features of the 1967-1969 body styles. For a low cost american sports car, the Camaro is your car.
